The triple blessing while I wait for the Lord.
TEXT: 2 CORINTHIANS 13:14
Finally, brethren, have joy, be perfect, be consoled, be of one mind, and live in peace; and the God of peace and love will be with you. Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the saints greet you. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
INTRODUCTION:
How important it is that we can take advantage of all the resources and opportunities that the Lord gives us while we await his coming. God has not left us in the air or adrift in relation to our preparation for his coming. That’s why at this time I want to talk to you about.
THE TRIPLE BLESSING WHILE I WAIT FOR THE LORD.
THE GRACE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (V.14).
1.1 Grace means «unmerited gift or gift».
1.2 By grace we are saved (Ephesians 2.1).
And he gave life to you, when you were dead in your trespasses and sins,
1.3 By grace we have free access to the presence of God
(Hebrews 4:16) Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, in order to obtain mercy and find grace for the opportune help.
1.4 By the grace of the Lord we are strengthened.
1.5 Let us support each day in the grace of God and we will achieve his blessing.
THE LOVE OF GOD (V.14)
2.1 St. John 3:16 describes in a clear, convincing and real way the love of God. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not be lost, but may have eternal life.
2.2 For the love of God we are called children of God (1 John 3: 1).
See what love the Father has given us, so that we may be called children of God; This is why the world does not know us, because it did not know him.
2.3 For those who do not feel loved, the love of God is the best antidote.
COMMUNION WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT (V.14)
3.1 The day we believed, the Holy Spirit came to dwell in our hearts (Eph 1: 13-14).
In him also, having heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and having believed in it, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the acquired possession, for praise of his glory.
3.2 The promise of the Lord was that he would baptize us in the Holy Spirit (Acts 1: 4-8).
And being together, he commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, he told them, you heard from me. Because John certainly baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit in not many days. Then they who had assembled asked him, saying, Lord, will you restore the kingdom to Israel at this time? And he said to them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father put in his sole power; but you will receive power, when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth
3.3 The Holy Spirit comes to perfect our character through its fruits (Gal.5: 22).
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance; against such things there is no law
3.4 The Holy Spirit gives us gifts (spiritual, service and ministerial) to be able to serve well (1 Corinthians 12).
I do not want, brothers, that you ignore spiritual gifts
3.5 The Holy Spirit wants to be our inseparable companion in life.
CONCLUSION:
These three things are insufficient to be prepared for the coming of the Lord.
My beloved brothers: Enjoy the grace, love and anointing of God.
My friend: Fill yourself with the love of God
La triple bendición mientras espero al Señor.
TEXTO: 2ª CORINTIOS 13:14
Por lo demás, hermanos, tened gozo, perfeccionaos, consolaos, sed de un mismo sentir, y vivid en paz; y el Dios de paz y de amor estará con vosotros. Saludaos unos a otros con ósculo santo. Todos los santos os saludan. La gracia del Señor Jesucristo, el amor de Dios, y la comunión del Espíritu Santo sean con todos vosotros. Amén.
INTRODUCCIÓN:
Que importante es que podamos aprovechar todos los recursos y oportunidades que el Señor nos da mientras esperamos su venida. Dios no nos a dejado en el aire o a la deriva en relación a nuestra preparación para su venida. Es por eso que en esta hora quiero hablarles sobre.
LA TRIPLE BENDICIÓN MIENTRAS ESPERO AL SEÑOR.
- LA GRACIA DEL SEÑOR JESUCRISTO (V.14).
1.1 Gracia significa “don o regalo inmerecido”.
1.2 Por gracia somos salvos (Efesios 2.1).
Y él os dio vida a vosotros, cuando estabais muertos en vuestros delitos y pecados,
1.3 Por gracia tenemos acceso libre a la presencia de Dios
(Heb. 4: 16) Acerquémonos, pues, confiadamente al trono de la gracia, para alcanzar misericordia y hallar gracia para el oportuno socorro.
1.4 Por la gracia del Señor somos fortalecidos.
1.5 Apoyémonos cada día en la gracia de Dios y vamos a alcanzar su bendición.
- EL AMOR DE DIOS (V.14)
2.1 San Juan 3:16 describe de manera clara, convincente y real el amor de Dios. Porque de tal manera amó Dios al mundo, que ha dado a su Hijo unigénito, para que todo aquel que en él cree, no se pierda, mas tenga vida eterna.
2.2 Por el amor de Dios somos llamados hijos de Dios (1ª Juan 3:1).
Mirad cuál amor nos ha dado el Padre, para que seamos lamados hijos de Dios; por esto el mundo no nos conoce, porque no le conoció a él.
2.3 Para aquellos que no se sienten amados, el amor de Dios es el mejor antídoto.
- LA COMUNIÓN CON EL ESPÍRITU SANTO (V.14)
3.1 El día que creímos, el Espíritu Santo vino a morar a nuestro corazón (Ef. 1:13-14).
En él también vosotros, habiendo oído la palabra de verdad, el evangelio de vuestra salvación, y habiendo creído en él, fuisteis sellados con el Espíritu Santo de la promesa, que es las arras de nuestra herencia hasta la redención de la posesión adquirida, para alabanza de su gloria.
3.2 La promesa del Señor fue que nos bautizaría en el Espíritu Santo (Hechos 1:4-8).
Y estando juntos, les mandó que no se fueran de Jerusalén, sino que esperasen la promesa del Padre, la cual, les dijo, oísteis de mí. Porque Juan ciertamente bautizó con agua, mas vosotros seréis bautizados con el Espíritu Santo dentro de no muchos días. Entonces los que se habían reunido le preguntaron, diciendo: Señor, ¿restaurarás el reino a Israel en este tiempo? Y les dijo: No os toca a vosotros saber los tiempos o las sazones, que el Padre puso en su sola potestad; pero recibiréis poder, cuando haya venido sobre vosotros el Espíritu Santo, y me seréis testigos en Jerusalén, en toda Judea, en Samaria, y hasta lo último de la tierra
3.3 El Espíritu Santo viene para perfeccionar nuestro carácter por medio de sus frutos (Gal.5:22).
Mas el fruto del Espíritu es amor, gozo, paz, paciencia, benignidad, bondad, fe, mansedumbre, templanza; contra tales cosas no hay ley
3.4 El Espíritu Santo nos brinda dones (espirituales, de servicio y ministeriales) para poder servir bien (1ª Cor. 12).
- No quiero, hermanos, que ignoréis acerca de los dones espirituales
3.5 El Espíritu Santo quiere ser nuestro compañero inseparable en la vida.
CONCLUSIÓN:
Estas tres cosas son insuficientes para estar preparados para la venida del Señor.
Mis amados hermanos: Disfruta de la gracia, el amor y unción de Dios.
Mi amigo: Llénate del amor de Dios
